TRUE INSPRIATION: The Black Ivy
Everybody gets their inspiration from somewhere else. The Stones recorded the best songs while being on all kinds of dope, Mark began something big after fucking up a date and Frank started his business after the death of his boss.
So what inspired us to build Arculture? Why have we been sitting in this office for the past 6 months trying to create something we think is innovative, cool and a contribution to what’s out there already?
A big thing for us was this project by Street Etiquette, Unabashedly Prep and The Bkc. There’s just someting about these shots, better than we’ve ever seen before. Obviously, the featured looks are sick but it’s just the whole setting that does it. Even the music that comes with the slideshow contributes to the overall vibe. If a couple of guys from Brooklyn could do all this, we were definitely capable of building a new clothing inspired website! As a matter of fact, we’re just college kids as well.
